RISE Appoints Guenther Preuhs Vice President of Program Controls |

Chicago, September 24, 2007:
The Rise Group is pleased to announce the advancement of Guenther Preuhs to the position of Vice President of the company, effective immediately. About Guenther PreuhsMr. Preuhs assumes the title of Vice President after having been Director of the Rise Group Program Controls team, which has provided Controls services for over $6 billion in construction programs for clients including the Chicago Housing Authority, the Illinois State Tollway Authority, O’Hare International Airport, and The University of Chicago. Mr. Preuhs’ personal expertise extends to airports, tollways and highways, railways and other infrastructure, and civic, medical and residential buildings. Mr. Preuhs has authored numerous white papers in the field of Program Controls. He has lectured at the School of Engineering at Northwestern University, and advises engineering co-op interns at Rise. Under Guenther’s direction, The Rise Group serves as a beta-test site for Program Controls software developers. Austrian by birth, Mr. Preuhs is fluent in English and German. He earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Technical University and a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from Technical College, both in Vienna. He completed graduate courses and wrote his thesis in the School of Engineering at Northwestern University. He is a founding member of the Planning Engineers Organization (PEO), and is a member of the Austrian Association of Engineers and Architects (OIAV).
