Rise is providing full project management services for the Cleveland Museum of Art's phased renovation and expansion program. Phase I - East Wing opens to the public on June 27, 2009.
“It is our honor to support the Cleveland Museum of Art, one of the nation's top museums, as they expand
and continue to build upon their highly regarded status.”
Since 2005 Rise has provided full project management services for the Cleveland Museum of Art's phased Renovation and Expansion, designed by Rafael Viñoly, encompassing the Museum's two historic architectural landmarks and two additions: the East Wing and the West Wing. The program is being delivered in two phases. Milestone I is complete with the June 27, 2009 East Wing opening. Milestone II includes demolition of outdated building additions and construction of a new administrative wing, the West Wing, and a central atrium unifying the campus and connecting all built components. Milestone II is expected to be complete in 2012.
The Rise team works closely with Cleveland Museum of Art in-house staff, providing ongoing management support of all aspects of the design, construction, commissioning, art installation and staff move-in processes. We are honored to continue working with the Museum through the completion of Milestone II.
